Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 3:19 PM ET) -- Ohio health authorities on Thursday dropped Medicaid administration contracts awarded to Aetna Inc. and Meridian Health Plan of Ohio after re-examining their applications, and handed contracts to Molina Healthcare Inc. and Centene Corp. after they protested their exclusion from the deal.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, which rejected Molina and Centene when handing out contracts to five insurers in April, re-scored Molina and Centene’s proposals after the insurers lodged official protests claiming their applications were scored incorrectly.
