Sandata Assails 'Preposterous' Bid For Sanctions

Law360, New York (September 14, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Sandata Technologies Inc. called technology outsourcing company Inforcrossing's efforts to have two of its lawyers sanctioned “distasteful and unwarranted” while asserting its right to oppose Infocrossing's motion for default judgment in the companies' bitter patent dispute.

Sandata argued in two filings Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York that Infocrossing's attempts to sanction attorneys Daniel M. Gantt and Thorsten Schmidt, both of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, amounted to no more than harassment.
