Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 10:01 PM ET) -- An Illinois nursing home on Wednesday filed a malpractice suit against Duane Morris LLP and one of its partners for allegedly breaching a capped fee agreement and charging excessive fees for representation in a False Claims Act suit two former employees brought against the company.
In a complaint filed in Cook County Circuit Court, Momence Meadows Nursing Center Inc. and its president Jacob Graff said Duane Morris and partner Howard Hoffmann cost them millions in legal fees with duplicative and unnecessary work.
