Law360, New York (July 03, 2012, 4:49 PM ET) -- The planned $45.3 million sale of bankrupt Christ Hospital in Jersey City, N.J., to a for-profit operator of other local hospitals has cleared another key hurdle, with a state court judge on Friday giving the transaction his stamp of approval.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Morris Stern in March approved Hudson Hospital Holdco LLC's bid for not-for-profit Christ Hospital over a competing offer, but the deal still had to undergo scrutiny from the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and the state attorney general.
