Reps. Seek 'Patient' Clarity In Low-Cost Drug Program

Law360, New York (July 19, 2012, 7:51 PM ET) -- Two Republican lawmakers urged federal health officials Wednesday to update their definition of “patient” in a discount drug program that serves low-income patients, a program whose rapid growth has drawn scrutiny from both Congress and a government watchdog.

In a letter to the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, which oversees the so-called 340B program, Reps.
