Ferring Sues Apotex Over DDAVP Generic

Law360, New York (August 22, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Dutch drug maker Ferring BV is suing a Canadian rival in U.S. district court, asserting a patent for its multipurpose urinary-control drug.

Ferring sued Ontario-based Apotex Inc. in U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey last week, alleging infringement of the patent used for the tablet version of its desmopressin drug called DDAVP.
