Law360, New York (November 26, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Roche Diagnostics Operations Inc. has launched another legal battle to protect its blood glucose test strips for monitoring diabetes, this time accusing Abbott Diabetes Care Inc. and several other medical device makers of infringing two of its patents covering the technology.
The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, accuses Abbott, Bayer Healthcare LLC, Diagnostic Devices Inc., LifeScan Inc., Nova Biomedical Corp. and Sanvita Inc. of infringing the two recently issued patents.
