Smith & Nephew Salesman Excused From Liability Suit

Law360, New York (February 14, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A district court judge has chucked a lawsuit attempting to hold a Smith & Nephew Inc. salesman liable for marketing a defective knee implant, finding that the named defendant did not actually sell the device to the plaintiff's doctor.
