Law360, New York (December 13, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Medical device maker Boston Scientific has filed a patent infringement suit against Singapore-based Biosensors Group in a Dutch court, adding another lawsuit to the extensive litigation over highly profitable stent patents.

Boston Scientific and Canadian drug company Angiotech Pharmaceuticals have filed a suit against Biosensors, alleging the company’s drug eluding stent Axxion infringes patents controlled jointly by the two companies.

Biosensors said in a statement that despite the claims of the companies, its Dutch unit Occam International had received permission to sell its stents in Europe....
