Law360, New York (May 05, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Alarmed by the dangerous combination of blockbuster drugs and unscrupulous advertising, U.S. lawmakers have scheduled a hearing for Thursday, when officials from Pfizer Inc., Johnson & Johnson and Schering-Plough Corp. will testify to the safe marketing of their cholesterol and anemia drugs.
The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce hearing, announced Monday, will be headed by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), the chairman of the subcommittee on oversight and investigations.
