Law360, New York (June 27, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The alleged mastermind behind a multimillion-dollar human tissue theft conspiracy was sentenced Friday to 18 to 54 years in prison.
Michael Mastromarino, 44, a former New Jersey dentist, was sentenced in New York State Supreme Court in Brooklyn in accordance with his March 18 guilty plea on all counts for allegedly masterminding a grisly scheme involving the harvesting of sometimes diseased body parts from corpses, announced the Kings County district attorney's office.
