Law360, New York (September 02, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC is suing Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc. for its efforts to market a generic version of Combivir, a combination drug used to treat HIV patients.
In a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, the pharmaceutical giant claimed Lupin's abbreviated new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration infringed GSK's patent.
