Suit Claims Ford Hid Faulty Truck Engines

Law360, New York (September 08, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A health care equipment manufacturer has sued the Ford Motor Co., claiming that the automaker concealed problems with a line of truck engines.

Hill-Rom Co. Inc. filed the suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, claiming that Ford has not totally complied with warranty agreements on F-650 commercial trucks that have suffered high levels of engine failure due to problems with the fuel-injection system.
