Law360, New York (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A German district court has ruled against Edwards Lifesciences Corp. in its infringement suit against rival CoreValve Inc., dealing a blow to Edwards in its trans-Atlantic fight over a patent for transcatheter heart valve technology.
The District Court for Düsseldorf, Germany, held Thursday that CoreValve's ReValving aortic valve replacement system doesn't infringe any of the claims of Edwards' German patent.
