Deals Rumor Mill: Anthem, Teva, SF Holdings

By Benjamin Horney (May 23, 2016, 6:31 PM EDT) -- Anthem Inc. and Cigna Corp. are having issues behind the curtain that may or may not derail Anthem's $54.2 billion Cigna acquisition, inked over the summer, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday. According to the report, which cited a letter the news outlet was privy to, the behind-the-scenes difficulties could lead to a delay in regulatory approval of the blockbuster deal, and potentially could wind up leading to the deal's downfall. Neither side is planning yet to try to stop the transaction, the report noted, but both companies have privately alleged that the other violated certain provisions in their agreement....
