Law360, New York (March 17, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has tossed Wyeth Inc. and Schwarz Pharma Inc. from a lawsuit alleging the brand-name pharmaceutical companies failed to warn that a copycat version of their anti-heartburn medicine Reglan could cause an incurable muscular disorder, but has ruled that, in light of the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Wyeth v. Levine, the generic-drug makers must face the plaintiff's state law tort claims.
