Good moral character has long been part of the Immigration & Nationality Act (INA). In fact, the immigration law contains a definition for good moral character which is considered in many applications for relief under the INA. Section 101(f) of the INA bars persons who engage in certain acts or activities from demonstrating good moral character that is required for certain relief under the immigration laws....
