Law360, New York (August 04, 2009, 2:15 PM ET) -- Geico Corp. has lost a bid to wriggle out of a suit filed by Ronald A. Katz over 19 patents covering automated call processing systems, despite the insurance company's claims that the billionaire inventor's complaint is too vague.
Judge R. Gary Klausner denied the defendant's motion to dismiss in chambers on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, finding that the inventor had provided sufficient detail in his complaint to allow the suit to go forward.
