Former AIG Chief Seeks To Snuff Spitzer Fraud Case

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 4:35 PM ET) -- American International Group Inc. former honcho Maurice “Hank” Greenberg has asked a New York state judge to drop the curtain on a securities fraud case launched by then-Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, claiming the stale suit was a political maneuver from the outset and lacks purpose and standing.
