Port Authority, Zurich American Settle 9/11 Claims

Law360, New York (November 12, 2009, 4:35 PM ET) -- Zurich American Insurance Co. has settled claims with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey relating to the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center.

Both Zurich and the Port Authority moved on Wednesday for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to dismiss with prejudice all claims and counterclaims in the matter. Each party will retain and bear its own costs.
