Law360, New York (January 21, 2010, 5:12 PM ET) -- New York state prosecutors have reportedly agreed to drop felony bid-rigging charges against three former employees of Marsh & McLennan Cos. and Zurich Financial Services AG, pending cooperation with plea agreements.
New York State Supreme Court Justice James Yates allowed former Marsh employees Kathryn Winter and Robert Stearns and ex-Zurich employee James Spiegel to switch their guilty pleas from felonies to misdemeanors Wednesday, and will drop the charges altogether if the defendants abide by the plea agreements for six months, Business Insurance reported.
