9th Circ. Overturns $51M Insurance Award For HP

Law360, New York (May 12, 2010, 6:15 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court has reversed a $51 million judgment for Hewlett-Packard Co. in a coverage dispute with Ace Property & Casualty Insurance Co., ruling that the insurer had no duty to defend an antitrust counterclaim lodged against HP in its patent infringement suit over ink cartridges.
