Law360, New York (May 19, 2010, 2:45 PM ET) -- David Alberts, whose practice includes structured finance and mergers and acquisitions in the insurance industry, has joined Mayer Brown LLP from Hogan Lovells, adding expertise to Mayer Brown's roster as the firm seeks to bolster its insurance industry group.
Alberts, who started Monday, represents the American Council of Life Insurers, the life insurance trade association with 400 members in North America, and has worked on transactions for Japanese insurance companies that involved the transfer of billions of insurance claims risk.
