Law360, New York (June 24, 2010, 4:21 PM ET) -- A federal judge has again dismissed a $2.4 million environmental cleanup suit brought by Chubb Custom Insurance Co. against Ford Motor Co., Sun Microsystems Inc. and Chevron Corp., ruling that the insurer's complaint is still not adequate.
Chubb had tried to fix its claims, which it brought under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, but it failed in several areas, Judge Jeremy Fogel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Wednesday.
