Law360, New York (July 01, 2010, 2:44 PM ET) -- The U.S. Senate has approved a measure reauthorizing the National Flood Insurance Program until Sept. 30, moving to restore the program after a monthlong lapse — the fourth such disruption the federal flood insurance plan has experienced.
H.R. 5569, the National Flood Insurance Program Extension Act of 2010, passed the Senate by unanimous consent Wednesday evening.
