Law360, New York (August 30, 2010, 11:54 AM ET) -- Toppan Photomasks Inc. has filed suit against a Chubb Corp. unit, seeking coverage for an underlying action from employees who were laid off when the semiconductor parts maker consolidated its production plants in France.
Toppan and French affiliate Toppan Photomask France SAS lodged a complaint Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, accusing Federal Insurance Co. of breach of contract and seeking declarations that both the judgment and defense costs for the employment suit are covered under the policy.
