Law360, New York (November 03, 2010, 3:19 PM ET) -- Welch Foods Inc. has appealed a judge's ruling that three insurers don't have to pay defense costs or indemnify the juice maker in actions against the company over the labeling and marketing of its white-grape pomegranate juice.
Welch, which filed a notice of appeal Tuesday with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, is seeking reversal of a court's decision to grant summary judgment to National Union Insurance Fire Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Zurich American Insurance Co.; and Axis Surplus Insurance Co.
