Law360, Los Angeles (December 01, 2011, 6:31 PM ET) -- Attorneys for Michael Jackson’s estate on Thursday dropped objections to subpoenas from Lloyd’s of London for the pop star’s medical records in its $17.5 million insurance fight with concert producer AEG Live LLC, after a California judge indicated its revised requests were reasonable.
“Why don’t we give up the records?” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Malcolm Mackey asked the estate’s attorneys at Thursday’s hearing on a motion to quash seven Lloyd’s subpoenas. “I think these should be turned over.”
