High Court Again Denies Bid To Argue For Kagan Recusal

Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 2:43 PM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday stood firm in its denial of conservative group Freedom Watch's request to present oral arguments in support of its claim that Justice Elena Kagan should recuse herself from challenges to the Obama administration's health care reform law.

The court rejected Freedom Watch's reconsideration motion of its Jan. 23 denial of the group's request for 10 minutes of oral arguments in addition to the 4 1/2 hours of arguments already scheduled on the constitutionality of the law. As was the case...
