7th Circ. Won't Reopen Perkins Coie, Aviall ERISA Dispute

Law360, New York (March 2, 2012, 7:28 PM ET) -- The Seventh Circuit ruled Friday that Social Security disability dependent payments compensate for a disabled parent's lost wages, refusing to revive a putative class action alleging Perkins Coie LLP and Aviall Inc.'s long-term disability plans wrongly offset plan benefits based on such payments.
