Law360, New York (May 01, 2012, 1:55 PM ET) -- Republican lawmakers Tuesday doubled down on claims that President Barack Obama’s sweeping overhaul of the health insurance industry will force employers to halt coverage, brushing off disavowals of such intentions by several of the country’s largest companies.
The report from the House Ways and Means Committee looked at data from nearly three-quarters of Fortune 100 companies and concluded that “the evidence suggests millions of Americans could soon lose their current health coverage.”
