Adjusters Seek $2.5M From Insurers Over Ex-Worker's Scam

Law360, New York (May 10, 2012, 6:16 PM ET) -- Insurance companies including American Economy Insurance Co. requested Tuesday that a lawsuit brought by a Texas claims adjustment company be removed to federal court after the adjusters said they were seeking damages of $2.5 million following an employee's false claims scheme.
