Travelers Must Cough Up Docs In Mine Pollution Coverage Row

Law360, New York (May 16, 2012, 6:37 PM ET) -- An Alabama federal judge on Wednesday granted mining giant Drummond Co.'s request to compel certain documents from Travelers Casualty & Surety Co. in a coverage battle over litigation costs related to pollution from the company's coke production operations.

U.S. Magistrate Judge John E. Ott ordered Travelers to produce any complaints filed against it, whether in civil court or to regulators such as the Federal Trade Commission, that contain allegations reasonably similar to those in Drummond's case.
