Law360, New York (June 07, 2012, 1:08 PM ET) -- Under Florida law, a plaintiff that wrongfully has been deprived of a contractually due payment generally is entitled, as a matter of law, to prejudgment interest at a statutorily prescribed rate from the date that payment became due.
