Law360, New York (June 26, 2012, 3:36 PM ET) -- Attorneys for Endurance American Specialty Insurance Co. asked a California federal judge on Monday to sanction WFP Securities Corp. and its lawyer in an insurance coverage suit, saying WFP has repeatedly filed needless and bothersome motions.
Endurance is riled in particular by WFP's motion to disqualify Endurance's Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP counsel in the dispute over Endurance's alleged failure to defend the securities broker against claims of negligent investment advice, which it said is without merit and was filed only to harass the insurer....
