9th Circ. Won't Review Class Cert. In WaMu Appraisal Suit

Law360, New York (July 13, 2012, 6:04 PM ET) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday let stand a lower court decision granting class certification in a lawsuit claiming Washington Mutual Bank and title insurer First American Corp. conspired to raise appraisal values so WaMu could sell securitized mortgages at artifically high prices.
