Texas High Court Turns Down Refinery Fire Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (September 20, 2012, 7:30 PM ET) -- The Texas Supreme Court refused Thursday to review the dismissal of a lawsuit that two insurers brought against suppliers of allegedly defective equipment to recoup money they spent covering a fire and explosion at an oil refinery that caused $11.8 million in damage in the 1980s.
