Supreme Court Allows ACA Religious Challenge At 4th Circ.

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 7:24 PM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday revived challenges to central elements of health reform, directing the Fourth Circuit to review an evangelical Christian school's allegations that Congress exceeded its power and violated religious freedoms by enacting insurance requirements for employers and individuals.

The high court, which had shot down Liberty University’s petition after upholding the law earlier this year, reversed course and told the appeals court to look at whether lawmakers acted outside of their constitutional powers in forcing large employers to provide health benefits....
