Law360, New York (December 20, 2012, 4:55 PM ET) -- A Texas federal court ruled Tuesday that OneBeacon Insurance Group Ltd. must defend law firm T. Wade Welch & Associates against malpractice claims that its former client Dish Network Corp. brought after being sanctioned in antitrust litigation.
U.S. District Judge Gray Miller held that OneBeacon could not apply an exclusion in its professional liability policy that bars claims arising from wrongful acts that TWW knew about before taking out coverage.
