Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 12:54 PM ET) -- The much-awaited and highly controversial health insurance exchanges authorized by the Affordable Care Act will begin operations on Oct. 1, 2013, providing marketplaces where eligible individuals can compare, select and have the opportunity to enroll in health plans.
