Law360, New York (July 7, 2015, 10:14 AM EDT) -- On June 18, 2015, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners Executive Committee/Plenary adopted new Actuarial Guideline XLIX (AG 49), which for the first time sets forth uniform standards for indexed-based interest crediting and other assumptions that form the basis of hypothetical illustrations used in the sale of indexed universal life insurance policies.
