Lloyd's, Cooke Told To Arbitrate Asbestos Claims Suit

Law360, New York (March 27, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Refusing to remand the matter to state court, a federal judge has signed off on a request by Lloyd's of London to compel arbitration in a dispute with B.D. Cooke & Partners Ltd. over asbestos-related reinsurance claims stemming from the 1971 insolvency of a New York insurer.
