Law360, New York (March 31, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has kept largely intact a class action that accuses Bryan Cave LLP of helping put together an employee defined benefit plan and related insurance contracts that allegedly created an illegal tax shelter.
On Monday, Judge Jane J. Boyle of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas ruled that the plaintiffs, Desert Vista Marketing Group Inc. and its president, David Hildebrandt, sufficiently stated a claim for negligent misrepresentation.
