Law360, New York (August 12, 2009, 3:59 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has moved to dismiss part of a Procter & Gamble Co. case challenging anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of citric acid and citrate salts from Canada and China.
In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, the ITC argues that the company does not have standing to challenge duties on Chinese imports because P&G imports the products from Canada. The ITC is not objecting to the company's standing regarding Canadian imports.
