Law360, New York (September 21, 2009, 7:54 PM ET) -- In a significant development in the imposition of trade remedies on Chinese imports, the U.S. Court of International Trade has ordered the U.S. Department of Commerce not to impose countervailing duties on imports from nonmarket economy countries unless it modifies its rules for anti-dumping duties from such countries, to ensure the two types of duties aren't both imposed on the same products.
