Law360, New York (March 08, 2010, 4:51 PM ET) -- A European court has refused to do away with anti-dumping duties imposed on leather shoes made in China and Vietnam, deeming the recently extended tariffs a correct response to unfair trade practices.
The European Union’s General Court dismissed Chinese manufacturers' challenges to the prolonged duties Thursday, upholding the 16.5 percent rates levied against those companies and the 10 percent duties assessed to Vietnamese producers.
