US Cos. Back 216% Duty On Chinese Furniture

Law360, New York (March 18, 2010, 1:43 PM ET) -- A group of domestic manufacturers has supported a remand determination by the U.S. Department of Commerce finding a 216.01 percent anti-dumping duty rate for certain wooden bedroom furniture from China imported by Starcorp Furniture Co. Ltd.

The American Furniture Manufacturers Committee for Legal Trade believes the government should confirm its corroboration analysis of Starcorp and that a second remand proceeding is unnecessary, the group told the U.S. Court of International Trade on Wednesday.
