BenQ Seeks To Revive LCD Monitor Imports Duty Spat

Law360, New York (March 25, 2010, 12:19 PM ET) -- BenQ America Corp. has appealed the U.S. Court of International Trade's decision to grant the U.S. government summary judgment in the electronics manufacturer's suit challenging the determination of tariff classifications for its liquid crystal display monitor imports from China.

The company lodged its notice of appeal on Tuesday, asking the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to take a second look at the CIT's March 1 order granting the government's cross-motion for summary judgment and denying BenQ's motion for summary judgment.
