Law360, New York (March 29, 2010, 7:33 PM ET) -- A federal judge has tossed a suit against U.S. companies that allegedly conspired to fix prices for ferrosilicon then complained to the U.S. International Trade Commission about foreign “dumping.”
The suit — which accuses, among others, Elkem A/S and SKW Trostberg AG of mounting the cartel-and-complain scheme — does not belong in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Judge Rosemary M. Collyer said in an order issued Friday, finding the companies' ties to the venue inadequate.
