US Urges Stay In Saw Blade Duties Spat

Law360, New York (March 30, 2010, 12:33 PM ET) -- The U.S. government has urged the U.S. Court of International Trade to continue its stay on a suit from domestic saw blade makers challenging duty rates on Chinese exporters, arguing that important test cases remain pending on appeal.

The Diamond Sawblades Manufacturers Coalition moved the court to lift the stay earlier in March after it reached a decision in a related matter that had been deemed a test case. But that case, as well as a few others related to the instant action, has been appealed...
